Auto Threads documentation
Install the bot, configure channels, and control automatic thread creation.
Auto Threads creates a thread from every accepted new message in the channels you configure. Each channel combines one creation filter with one to five ordered naming rules.
Recommended path
- Install Auto Threads on your server.
- Check its permissions in the relevant channels.
- Create your first configuration.
- Then choose naming rules such as Author name, URL title, or fallbacks suited to Media.
One configuration per channel
Selecting a channel in the panel does not create any data. The configuration becomes active only after you submit the modal for the chosen mode.
Important principles
- The bot ignores automated messages by default to avoid loops.
- A message that has already been processed never creates two threads.
- URL and Media modes can delete invalid messages according to a configurable policy.
- A deleted configuration can be restored for 30 days.
