First configuration
Configure a channel, a title mode, and a rename policy.
Open the panel
Run this command in Discord:
/config autothreadThe panel lists existing configurations and provides a channel selector. Selecting an unconfigured channel remains read-only.
Configure a channel
- Select a text channel.
- Choose Author name, URL title, or Media.
- Complete the options for that mode.
- Choose who may rename threads.
- Decide whether bots and webhooks are accepted.
- Submit the modal.
The configuration is created and enabled only at the final step.
Free limit
By default, a server can have one active channel. Disabling a configuration releases that slot without deleting its settings.
Send a valid message in the channel. The bot creates a public thread and posts a short message showing which mode was used.
