Modes
Media mode
Require an allowed attachment or URL and control where the title comes from.
Accepted sources
You can independently enable these categories:
- images;
- videos;
- audio;
- other files.
Images and videos are selected by default. At least one attachment category or URL policy must remain enabled.
URL policies
- URLs disabled: only attachments count;
- Strict media URLs: accepts a recognized media extension or an image/video preview already supplied by Discord;
- All URLs: accepts every valid HTTP or HTTPS link.
Checking a strict URL does not contact the remote website.
Title source
- Text, then media: uses message text with URLs removed, then the filename or page title, then the author;
- Media, then author: starts with the filename or page title;
- Author name: directly uses the author’s identity.
Attachments are classified from their MIME type, with the filename extension as a fallback. Their contents are never downloaded or analyzed.
